As of tomorrow–August 1st–I will be proud to call Bridgetown Realty my new professional home in Portland. Seeing as how I work both sides of the Columbia River–working with real estate clients in Washington and Oregon–it seemed fitting to be with a brokerage called Bridgetown.
But, it isn’t just about the name, of course. Bridgetown was started in 1979 by Deborah Betron and it has been a locally-owned, independent real estate brokerage ever since. These qualities are very important to me, as well as company’s endurance through the highs and lows of the market and its very trusted reputation.
The other team members I have met at Bridgetown have also impressed me with their enthusiasm, community-mindedness, intelligence and work ethic. Before making the switch, I even spoke with a couple of agents who are no longer with Bridgetown, and even they had rave reviews.
I first met Deborah at the Gay & Grey Expo here in Portland, where I was volunteering with the Fair Housing Council of Oregon. I was so impressed to see a real estate brokerage there working with the LGBT senior community, as I am planning on getting my SRES designation to work with older real estate clients. We started talking that day, and the conversation continued, and I look forward to working closely with them. I know that Bridgetown Realty will provide me with a wealth of resources and expertise to better serve my clients.
If you would like to know more about Bridgetown or real estate in Portland, please let me know. I would love to have a conversation with you.
